Organising Content
Edjam is a Bristol University initiative to help teach and learn about violent pasts in order to build more just futures. The website was built to communicate updates, house their resources and provide information about the programme and its values.
Built using a bespoke theme on top of a WordPress core, the site was developed to allow the staff to keep content up to date and add information around the programmes events and progress easily. Particular attention was paid to how the content could be tagged and categorised in such a way that allowed users to easily navigate the content and discover information thematically.
Localisation
Edjam is delivered in two main languages, Spanish and English. The site is set up to allow editors to create multiple language versions of each page and include translations for labels, navigation and categorisation.
